Kilmarnock P4-5 Mini Section welcomed Irvine Mini Section to a Bellsland on Sunday.
A good turnout of boys (15) meant we were able to field both a P4 and a P5 team, however Irvine arrived with only 7 boys in the P4/5 section so to enable all the boys to play, Thomas Dunlop, Logan McKinnon and Tom joined Irvine for the first 10 a-side match.

Both sides played some great running rugby and it was encouraging to see the support play, passing, running and again some good tackling, especially from the Kilmarnock players, who had been working hard on this at training on Wednesday night. This was a very even match and Captained by Luke O’Callaghan the game ended 3-3 with Kilmarnock scoring through Ben McKellar (2) and Tommy Logan.

The second match saw two different Kilmarnock teams take on Irvine (1 half each) and again both were tight games with the score ending 4-4 with tries from Thomas Dunlop, Tommy Logan, Harrison Brown and Michael Dunlop.
